Happy Birthday Ryker!

Well, it is happening. My children are growing up. Today Ryker turned 4 and how I can not stand it. As I watched him all day long, I sat and thought about all the days past and how much I absolutely love this little man. How much my heart is full for the love I have for him. I decided to take him out on a mini date tonight to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. He was so excited and giggled all the way thru. He had a tough time cause Dad couldn't come too, he was in Idaho, so when the movie got out we called him to chat. I held Ryker for a few minutes tonight and told him how much I loved him and told him how grateful I was that he was mine. How much we had prayed for him and how grateful that I was that God allowed me to be his mommy. I told him how long his daddy and I wanted him and prayed that he would soon be with us. What a blessing he was to us and that he was our little miracle. I told him how proud I was to be his mom and that I was so proud of him when he learned new things and helped out all the time. I told him how grateful I was that he had a strong spirit and that he was so willing to help out all the time. I told him that each day he is what makes me smile and laugh. That he is a great big brother and that thru his life he will be blessed because there are so many other people that love him too. I told him, as I do many times, that he is a child of God and that Jesus loves him. How blessed we are to have our little Ryker. I decided this year that from now on, on each of my childrens birthdays I will kneel down with them to pray and thank God for my children. As a gift to them and a reminder to me that they are truly my greatest blessing. How can I say enough about my little ones. I love you Ryker, Happy Birthday.

Ryker is 4!

The Best is yet to come!

Here they are just looking forward to what is ahead. This is our first day out on our way to trail number 1. As you can see, Ethney is thrilled as usual and Ryker, well he is always ready for a good time. LET's Roll!

THE HUNT!

Fun @ Camp

Ethney's favorite past time, going in and out of the tent!
Then of course the Jeep Rides!
We had so much fun with all the kids. Mado, Tanner, Cullen, Landon, Mason & more!!!!

The END!!!

It is true what they say "Ran Ragged" From sun up until way past sun down, they went non- stop. The night we got home Ethney slept from 8:30 p.m. until almost 1:00 the next day. Nice for me, I got the wash almost all the way caught up and then some. I had to keep checking her to make sure she was still breathing. I couldn't believe it. What a blast we had! It is always good to be back home though and in our own beds.

Ryker saying the months of the year!

What makes me smile!

How do you not love this face!

How Cute!

Easter Fun!

We decided to have a little Easter Egg hunt on Saturday. Thank goodness the day held out. THe Snow didn't come till we were almost home. It was a great day. How fun to watch all the children having so much fun. Brought back a lot of little memories for me.

Ryker was such a great helper. Ethney had a hard time finding eggs till Ryker came along. All she wanted to do was eat them.

So full of exctiemen! I can not wait to do it again.

My Pride!

Everyday I thank God for my blessings. Here are the top three. "There is no greater work that can be done than in the walls of our own home. "
President Joseph F. Smith.

My JOY!!!

Ahhhh!

You can hear her giggle!

Her giggles!

How cute it is to watch my children. How I love being a mom. Ryker loves to give his sister a ride in his jeep and of course, Ethney is already a professional. She giggles and smiles all the while she is waving and talking on her phone. Ryker has already tried taking her up and down the rocks and he's even conquered the snow pile across the street. Of couse mom was yelling at him the whole time. All Ethney did was smile.

Little Jeepers

So Ethney figured it out. She realized that this jeep really moves. Everytime Ryker goes out the door she follows by handing me first, her boots, then her coat and of course her hat. Out we go and if she isn't in the jeep when it moves, she screams until she is. O.k. Dad, look what you have started!

My big Kid!

Ryker came in the house last week and told me he needed his Bike Helmet so that he could go out and ride his friend Cooper's Bike. I asked him why he didn't just ride his own bike and he said, because Mom, mine has training wheels on it. I grabbed Bryan and we ran outside to watch. He just took off, First try. We were so excited. Not even 4 and already riding with the big boys. He tried his little bike for awhile then wanted his big Spiderman Bike. Just like we thought. He did it! We had to teach him how to get on it by using the stairs or the curb so that we would always have to be standing right there to balance him. After a couple tries of that. He was off. From sun up till sun down all he wants to do is ride his bike. I think he is so proud of himself. There are not a lot of little boys in our neighborhood that are already riding with out training wheels, Ryker is the youngest! We are such proud parents of course.
