Doesn't this just make you want to eat some corn on the cobb! They are so dang cute! I just had to post these. This is probably one of the first's for Ethney and she was loving every bite! Ryker showed her how to get down to business!

The Race for the Cure!

Ok, so This is really old, but I have been waiting for weeks to get pics from everyone about the race day. No I still have not gotten them so here is what I have. Each year, usually the weekend before Mother's Day, we do the Race for the Cure in honor of my sweet, dear, Aunt Kris! How we miss her. The team gets bigger each year, more family too! It is absolutely breath taking to go and see how many supporters there are to find a cure for Breast Cancer. Every year when we start out and even by the end you can not help but cry at the overwhelming power of spirit that there is among these people! All hoping for the same thing. This year there was over 17,000 people! WOW! There is a cure they just havn't shared it with us yet! We love you Kris.

Memorial Day! 2008

We have moles! Not really! Yes this is Bryan and Ryker digging up my yard again. With getting our camping trip cancelled we had to find something to do. We had a couple BBQ's, one night Josh and Jen and family came up and we had a fire and roasted smores! The next day as a family we visited every playground distributor to find the perfect (cheapest) playground set for the kids and B-ball standard for Bryan. ( I say Bryan becuase although he says it is for Ryker, B is the one out playing the one on one's with his buddies far more than Ryker. Then Sunday we did a little dutch oven cook out with Lane, my parents, Josh and fam again and some neighbors, it was delicious! and Monday we played some more, oh of course and set the standard. You don't see it here because as soon as we stood it up it fell and shattered! Ha, not really again, it is because the instructions said, dig a 4 foot hole, pour cement and let it sit for 72 hours. Of course Bryan couldn't wait 72 but 48 was enough so Tuesday up it went. I still need to go take pictures of the monster so maybe tomorrow I will get that in too. Over all it was a great weekend, lots of fun, we had a couple more fires and the best thing about it was i went to bed smelling like smoke but it was in my warm bed and I didn't have to pack and unpack! Hurray! Still looking forward to camping though, there is nothing better!

Thanks, Lane for your help with the wet, cement!

The Swing Set!

This is what we did over Memorial Day Weekend. Since it was going to snow and rain we dicided to Play at home. Ethney has decided that she wants to live in her swing so instead of chasing her to the neighbors 50 times a day, we broke down and bought our own. She loves it as does Ryker and literally she could live in it. Every time you try to take her out she just screams and says "no". It is the best little babysitter yet. We also, visited the childrens musem and tried seeing Indiana jones, but changed out mind at the last minute, we had a great day.

The Final!
