As our story begins back in June of 1996. It has been an amazing decade and then some. Our journey has brought us here to Layton and two children later, we are loving every minute of it.

Race for Carson!
Afew weeks ago, we went and watched Randy, Bry's cousin, Race up a mountain to raise money for an adorable little boy named Carson. Carson suffers from a rare case of Muscular Dis. We were able to go and cheer him on and watch as Bryan and many others climbed the mountain on foot to catch the bike just in case Randy bailed. Randy did great! He didn't need to much help. It was a fun day. Afterward we went to the lake and got a little wet! Thanks for the invite guys. Thanks for the pics Eric.

I just wanted to explain a bit. Blye Spanish eyes was Grandpa's favorite song. We had the opportinity to sing it at the funeral. (all the cousins, grandkids) There were so many sundays that we danced with Grandpa to this song while Grandma played it on the organ. All we could say was "play it again" oh how we loved this song and to dance with grandpa. Oh how I will miss you my dear Grandpa, Ralphie! These past few days I have found myslef singing it to Ethney as I rock her to sleep. She seems to love it as I do, Thank you Grandpa. We love you!

My Grandpa
Ralph M. Bott
Ralph M Bott 1919 ~ 2008 BOUNTIFUL- Ralph M Bott, 88, passed away peacefully, at home surrounded by family and loved ones, on Saturday, July 5, 2008. Ralph was born September 19, 1919 in Brigham City, Utah. His parents were Joseph Jensen and Florence Wright Bott. He graduated from Pocatello High School, and then enlisted in the United States Army, to serve his country during World War II. He was stationed for 39 months in the remote Dutch Harbor base in Alaska, and was involved in the conflicts known as the "Bloody Aleutians". Ralph was married to his eternal companion, Ruth Leone Poole, during the war on September 10, 1942. They were later sealed together in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 17, 1944. Ralph later married Winifred Jensen Davidson, for time in the Bountiful Temple, April 14, 1999. She has spent nine years with Ralph as his devoted companion, caring lovingly for him during his recent illness. Wini survives him and cherishes the time they had together. Ralph was a great father, grandfather, husband and friend, who cared deeply for everyone that he knew. A more generous man is hard to find, and that was the example he was to his family and friends. He was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served with dedication in many callings during his lifetime. He established The Bountiful Memorial Art Company in 1952, where all of his sons worked closely with him, and learned from him. The Race for the Cure!
Ok, so This is really old, but I have been waiting for weeks to get pics from everyone about the race day. No I still have not gotten them so here is what I have. Each year, usually the weekend before Mother's Day, we do the Race for the Cure in honor of my sweet, dear, Aunt Kris! How we miss her. The team gets bigger each year, more family too! It is absolutely breath taking to go and see how many supporters there are to find a cure for Breast Cancer. Every year when we start out and even by the end you can not help but cry at the overwhelming power of spirit that there is among these people! All hoping for the same thing. This year there was over 17,000 people! WOW! There is a cure they just havn't shared it with us yet! We love you Kris.

Memorial Day! 2008
We have moles! Not really! Yes this is Bryan and Ryker digging up my yard again. With getting our camping trip cancelled we had to find something to do. We had a couple BBQ's, one night Josh and Jen and family came up and we had a fire and roasted smores! The next day as a family we visited every playground distributor to find the perfect (cheapest) playground set for the kids and B-ball standard for Bryan. ( I say Bryan becuase although he says it is for Ryker, B is the one out playing the one on one's with his buddies far more than Ryker. Then Sunday we did a little dutch oven cook out with Lane, my parents, Josh and fam again and some neighbors, it was delicious! and Monday we played some more, oh of course and set the standard. You don't see it here because as soon as we stood it up it fell and shattered! Ha, not really again, it is because the instructions said, dig a 4 foot hole, pour cement and let it sit for 72 hours. Of course Bryan couldn't wait 72 but 48 was enough so Tuesday up it went. I still need to go take pictures of the monster so maybe tomorrow I will get that in too. Over all it was a great weekend, lots of fun, we had a couple more fires and the best thing about it was i went to bed smelling like smoke but it was in my warm bed and I didn't have to pack and unpack! Hurray! Still looking forward to camping though, there is nothing better!

Thanks, Lane for your help with the wet, cement!

Thanks, Lane for your help with the wet, cement! The Swing Set!
This is what we did over Memorial Day Weekend. Since it was going to snow and rain we dicided to Play at home. Ethney has decided that she wants to live in her swing so instead of chasing her to the neighbors 50 times a day, we broke down and bought our own. She loves it as does Ryker and literally she could live in it. Every time you try to take her out she just screams and says "no". It is the best little babysitter yet. We also, visited the childrens musem and tried seeing Indiana jones, but changed out mind at the last minute, we had a great day.
